I'm In All The Echoes That Have Faded Out.

I swear I've done more than this but I can't find them.....
But anyway, here's a little Jack and Sally mash up that I did the other day. Inspired by the lovely MadeYewLook on youtube (Seriously, check her out!)
My scanners still playing up. It keeps putting these weird black smudges on the photos/work I scan in. I've tried my best to get rid of it, but it's still kind of there.

I'm half way through a River Phoenix piece as well which I've stopped for now as I was just getting frustrated with it.  Hopefully I'll have finsihed him by next month. I've been wanting to draw River for ages now. But I can't get his cute little button nose right or his eyes, and it's driving me mad.

Much Love.

Are You The Devil?

You may have noticed I didn't post an art blog for June. Yeah, I slacked a lot in June. I slacked quite abit for July as well, which sucks.

The trailer for Suicide Squad got released a couple of weeks ago and lets just say I am SO excited! (Seriously go watch it!)
So excited that here's Margot Robbie and Jared Leto as Harley Quinn and The Joker respectively.
I am so happy with how Harley Quinn turned out.  I went a little overboard with the blue around her eye, but I kinda like it.
The Joker took me about two weeks, and I'm not sure if I'm happy with the face or not. I very rarely just do plain pencil drawings now, though. When I was younger, I did tons. And I want to start doing a bit more of just pencil work- no paints.
I also want to start getting back into biro pieces as well. I did alot of that in college.

There is also one more painting that I've been working on for the past couple of weeks as well. Because of the Suicide Squad though, it's kind of got pushed back a little.

Slime Balls.

 Wednesdy Addams
 Jade The Libra
 Sid Vicious
 Hayley Williams
Charli XCX

The bottom two are not scanned which is why they're darker than the others. I don't know, my scanner is playing up at the moment and wouldn't scan those in which is annoying.  So I had to take a photo of them on my phone. I'm sorry.
On the plus side though I really enjoyed doing all the pieces this month!

The last one wouldn't scan in properly so I apologise for that.
I have learnt this month that I really enjoy drawing tattoo designs up, so lookout for more of them in the future!

 Cailin Russo (Clearly not finished)

Alli Simpson (on her instagram)

I really slacked this month huh?
I don't know. February, I just wasn't feeling creative in you at all.
I still haven't finished my Cailin piece and the rose was a super quick little painting I did this afternoon.
Hopefully March will be filled with more creativity.

Boom Clap.

Kurt Cobain.

I have decided 2015 is the year I do more artwork.
Last year was seriously slacking in that department.

At the end of each month I'm going to post all the drawings/paintings I do here.
Let's see how long this lasts...

Halloween Crafting.

IT'S MY FAVOURITE DAY OF THE YEAR!!
Today we visited an adorable little pumpkin farm hidden in the village of Slindon. They had hundreds of different squash/pumpkins and even made a picture out of them!
I especially loved this little one pac-man ghost shaped one!

Possibly one of my favourite Halloween traditions is obviously pumpkin carving.
Last year I made Jack Skellington this year I decided to go for the more cute-sy kind of pumpkin.
He's got little moon eyes and a big fat smile, and I reckon he's adorable, and I'll be sad to him go.

I also like to do some form of baking at halloween. I don't really know why -but this year I found these little witches feet to stick into cakes.
i made plain vanilla cupcakes, added purple buttercream icing and gave them feet.
they're very yummy.

I'm probably the only 21 year old not going out tonight, so because plans fell apart, I'll be sat inside watching the Scream movies, The Craft (which p.s is easily in my top 3 favourite films) and endless amounts of Tim Burton movies. Or maybe just do an American Horror Story marathon.
But I'll be wearing my cat ears to make it all seem a bit more Halloween-ey.

Much love.

We Used To Be Half Alive...

Original Picture: Sammy Roenfedt With Reference to this drawing: AdoraChloe

Last night I finished my watercolour painting of the lovely Hayley Williams of Paramore.
It took me about 6 hours (give or take) and I'm still not sure how I feel about the "daydreaming" lyrics being there but I am still super happy about it. #
Hayley's quite possibly my favourite person to draw/paint and I've done multiple pieces over the years.
I think it something to do with her hair.

I've been super busy at work this week, but I have got a couple of reviews for you all, which will be up over the next 2 weeks.

Much love.

Made Peachy.

Last week me and my mum took a little trip to Birmingham for an art show. Whilst there, I met the lovely Laura from Made Peachy. She showed me how to make this super cute reverse-able peter pan collar, which I am completely obsessed with!
Please excuse the slightly bad quality instagram pic of me as I've lost tri-pod, but I just had to show you guys!

I'm not going to lie, I was quite scared of the sewing machine but purely because I haven't used in at least 5 years and I'd completely forgotten everything! But Laura made sure I knew what I was doing. And it turned out to be one of the most easiest things I've ever made, plus it looks so cute with literally everything.

Unfortunately, the pattern and how-to guide aren't yet up on Made Peachy, but I'm sure they'll be put up soon.
Make sure you check Laura's blog as she has a ton of adorable little DIY projects for you to try at home.

Much Love.

A Year In Instagram Pictures | Part 2

Pretty much everyday in July and August were spent down the beach either sunbathing, skating or swimming. I spent time with people I hadn't seen in years and tricked half my family into thinking I'd got a tattoo. Tristan from the Vamps tweeted a photo I'd taken of them on TV(see here and also my original tweet) I also brought myself an early birthday present in the form of a polaroid camera, which I've since discovered is my one true love.

Alot happened for me in September. I turned 20! I visited Paris for the first time, I went up the Eiffel Tower, took a ton of polaroids, and of course Disneyland was a must whilst we were there. I also went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour which was absolutely amazing. I went to one of four special ten year anniversary shows that Mcfly did at the Royal Albert Hall. That night I finally got to see Busted (well 2/3) live and cried way too much due to happiness. The 1975 finally released an album and they remembered me and my friend from about 3 years ago.

October consisted of seeing Lawson, Tyler Hilton and discovering a love for Paighton. I received my first ever GlossyBox, created a mini pumpkin patch for the Halloween display at work. And of course, it wouldn't of been October without me making a Jack Skellington inspired pumpkin for Halloween.

November was the month I got to see the beautiful Jessie J live and I got tickets to see MCBUSTED!!! (Biiiig deal for the ten year old inside of me) My friend introduced me to American Horror Story and I fell in love with Evan Peters. My brother and I visited York to see family, and the photo that sums up my cousin and I's relationship so perfectly was taken.

In December, I got to go to Clothes Show Live, where I spent a ton, saw lots of lovely people and just overall had a great weekend with my mum. I finally got to see the lovely Haim sisters. And I dressed up as little elf for work on Christmas Eve. Christmas was lovely and I ended up decorating my brothers tree with polaroids taken over the day.

In all, 2013 was pretty damn good.
I'm definitely ready for 2014 though.
Let's make it a good one!

A Year In Instagram Pictures | Part 1

Is it just me, or has 2013 just gone by in a blur?
As the year comes to an end, I thought it would be nice to take a little look at what I've been up to over the past 12 months.

January began with snow. And lots of it! I started to eat more healthy, did a ton of drawing and found a real life Spongebob in Sainsbury's. I also got front row at a We The Kings concert. All in all, a pretty good start to the year.

In February I fell completely head over heels in love with a grey bag from Topshop. I did my first ever beauty review on Topshop's Whimsical Lipstick (which P.S, I still love love to pieces) The lovely Zoella favourited a couple of my drawings on twitter and my love Cara Delevingne became very much real life. I also won a ticket to a We Are The In Crowd concert, which unfortunately I ended up not able to go to. And The 1975 suddenly became massive.

Not alot happened in March. I saw Lawson, made some cute cupcakes and bracelets and discovered 5 Seconds of Summer. I blogged about travelling and funny youtube videos.

April meant that I got to see 5SOS which resulted in me falling completely in love with them. I had my first ice cream of 2013 and spent a ton in Urban Outfitters. I also spent half the month daydreaming about being at Coachella

May was a really good month for me. We spent half of it having BBQ's and sunbathing. My love for Cara Delevingne grew a little bit more. We visited a zoo, I discovered the greatness of sushi, and a trip up to London to see The Summer Set was a must. May was also the month that I discovered The Vamps and I finally got to see James Bourne, who I'd been waiting to see since I was 10.

At the beginning of June, my cousins came down for a weekend which was lovely. I met District3 and Tom Odell came back to his hometown to do a little intimate acoustic session and signing. I FINALLY learnt how to do fishtail plaits and brought a skateboard. I wrote a blog post about embracing you're weirdness, which has since gone on to be one of my most popular posts on this blog! Me and my best friend, Katie, did the Race For Life and ended up raising around £300 for Cancer Research.

I shall post the second half within the next couple of days.
Much Love.

Normal People Scare Me.

A friend of mine recently suggested I watch a program called American Horror Story.
Now most have already watched and are obsessed with it, I know. I was thinking about watching it for a really time but until three weeks I didn't before.

Once my friend said how great she thought it was, I did a bit of research to see what it was about and figured "why not?"
Because what else do I need than another TV program to get obsessed with?

I'm currently half way through series 2 which I'm really enjoying.
I definitely loved series 1 though! And like every other girl that watches this show, I LOVED Tate. I'm not entirely sure what it was about him. Especially when he was all done up in skeleton make up.

I actually spent about 4 days drawing this, which I think is the longest I've ever spent on any piece of artwork.
It took me ages and I got incredibly frustrated with it at times, to the point where I was wondering why I even started it.
That being said, I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out and I'm going to try and do more portraits in black and white in the future.

Moral of this story: Watch American Horror Story. It's amazing. I promise.

Role Model.

 Original Picture: here

I had some creativity yesterday afternoon.
And a drawing of the ever so lovely Zoella came out of it.
Her youtube videos and blog posts are some of my favourites, and she gives some of the best beauty reviews and fashion finds.
Plus she has this completely adorable little quirky charm to her that you can't help but love.
Zoe's a role model to a lot of young women all around the world -including me.

In November, she made an incredibly inspiring video about dealing with panic attacks & anxiety, something which I deal with (but never talk about) That video made me love her all that more.
It made me realise that I'm not the only experiencing these things and helped me gain a bit more confidence and hope for my future. It also made me a bit more positive. That videos helped me an awful lot.
Definitely worth a watch.

It was really only a matter of time before I got out my paints and paper out and sat down to create something for Zoe.
I'm thinking of sending this out to her. But I'm not sure yet.
I'll keep you posted.

Living Strange.

Instead of sleeping, I've drawing and painting.
Its seems creativity gets the best of me at night time.
But I like it. I want it to continue for more than a few days.
My heads flooding thoughts this week.
I need to get them out on paper. But there's not enough hours in the night.
I guess that's what listening to 'Champagne Supernova' on repeat does to you.

Bucket List.

All I've really done for the past few hours is watch a countless amount of movies.
I’m too tired to do anything and I’m too awake to sleep and this is the last full night of 2012 and it’s weird.
This years been amazing but at the same time it's been awful. and I can’t decide if I’m sad or happy about it ending and I have so much on my mind that I feel like my head is going to explode so for now I've written a list of all the things I hope to do in 2013.
I find that a bucket list for the year works better than a new years resolution.
and hopefully the next 365 days will be good to me.

Sunshine Beyond The Rain.

Original photo: Rolla Coaster Magazine

My day has been spent drawing and painting this lovely photo of Justin Bieber I found on the internet.
I need to trim it and possibly frame it.
I also need to do that for the drawing of Cara Delevingne I did a couple of weeks ago which can be found here.  ( I haven't posted the final piece yet.)
I'm going to try to do more drawings cause I feel like recently I've been in a bit of slump and just haven't been bothered to do much that's creative. So hopefully I'll be able to post future drawing/paintings.

Summer Made It To England

If you read a lot of blogs by british people then you'll properly already know that the UK has suuun!!
It may not seem like such a big deal to anyone who lives in some hot, exotic country, but when the sun shines in England, bikinis come out and BBQ's begin.
I've spent my week down the beach during the day and then having drinks with the family in the evening.
If you're wondering, that's my sister in the third picture. I love that photo. Simply because it captures who she is -weird and crazy.
Also managed to do a drawing on Thursday which I'm quite happy with.
Oh, and I recieved some new beads a couple of days ago so hopefully there will be new bracelets up for sale by the end of the week.
