Coachella | My Fashion Favourites.

Disclaimer: None of the photos are mine but I have edited them.

You all know I love bohemian fashion and love to keep up with festival fashion in particular.
In the UK, our festivals are messy. No one gets dressed up. Which is why I love Coachella.

The music and arts festival basically kick starts the festival season with a celeb filled bang, bringing with it lots of gorgeous outfits.

As you may have guessed, I personally prefer the outfits that you can wear almost day-to-day, but have a little something-something added to them. I don't like when celebs comepletely change their style for the one weekend they attend. Reasons why Vanessa Hudgens always gets it right: she dresses like she's at Coachella all the time. Her outfits are wearable -you may just have to adjust them slightly.

This years festival was filled with beautiful music and beautiful clothes. It was hard to narrow it down to these. I mean, V attended both weekends. I easily could have made a blog about her outfits alone; I restrained, don't worry!

We Need To Talk About... Girl Boss

Girl Boss dropped on Netflix last night. The 13 episodes chronicle the rise of our favourite vintage badass, Nasty Gal.
When the trailer was released I knew from the get go that I would be in love. And, oh was I right.
I binged watched the whole show in a day and loved every second of it.

Britt Robertson plays Sophia, the lady who invented the once ebay-page-turned-worldwide-store. The show is a loose retelling of Sophia Amoruso's rise to stardom, based on her book by the same name. The book is still on my to-read list, has been for a while, and so far the show has received mixed reviews. Personally, I'm in love. But you already knew that.
A part of me really dislikes Sophia. She's somewhat self centred, vulgar and doesn't seem to care about anyone else's feelings. But at the same time she knows what she wants, she's crazy, independent and she's unapologetic. So half of me loves her.

My two main loves in life are fashion and music. The former obviously plays a huge role in this show, vintage, hippy and rocker styles are shown throughout, but didn't realise music would have such a big role in the show. The soundtrack is killer. Suzi Quatro, Modest Mouse, T-Rex and Silversun pickups. Urghh, whats not to love!

This show fills me with so much fashion inspo and basically makes me want to go vintage shopping.
Sorry bank account...

My Little Box have created the perfect box to start off our spring. This months garden theme brings us the health kick we need. Not just for our skin or gardens but for our insides too. And don't worry, if you don't have a garden- as crazy as it sounds, this box doesn't actually require one!

Coachella 2017 | My Recommendations.

Festival season is fast approaching! Kick starting the summer with a bang, comes Coachella, the Californian festival spread over two weekends. Since 1999, the Palm Springs desert has played host to some iconic line ups, including, Beck, The Chemical Brothers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine and the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, to name a few.

Although I've never been, I find myself often daydreaming of dancing under the Californian sun whilst The Cure play in the background. The festival usually has something for everyone. So if you're fortunate enough to attend, here's some recommendations to check out...
