Halloween Crafting.

IT'S MY FAVOURITE DAY OF THE YEAR!!
Today we visited an adorable little pumpkin farm hidden in the village of Slindon. They had hundreds of different squash/pumpkins and even made a picture out of them!
I especially loved this little one pac-man ghost shaped one!

Possibly one of my favourite Halloween traditions is obviously pumpkin carving.
Last year I made Jack Skellington this year I decided to go for the more cute-sy kind of pumpkin.
He's got little moon eyes and a big fat smile, and I reckon he's adorable, and I'll be sad to him go.

I also like to do some form of baking at halloween. I don't really know why -but this year I found these little witches feet to stick into cakes.
i made plain vanilla cupcakes, added purple buttercream icing and gave them feet.
they're very yummy.

I'm probably the only 21 year old not going out tonight, so because plans fell apart, I'll be sat inside watching the Scream movies, The Craft (which p.s is easily in my top 3 favourite films) and endless amounts of Tim Burton movies. Or maybe just do an American Horror Story marathon.
But I'll be wearing my cat ears to make it all seem a bit more Halloween-ey.

Much love.

Review | My Little Box October 2014

A couple of days ago, I received my second edition of My Little Box. And it's a good-un.

Last month I reviewed the first ever edition of the UK's MLB and I was so impressed, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next box.
Each month has it's own theme, and while September's was more of a "welcome-to-all-things-french" kind of box, October sees the Parisienne company teaming up with the absolute icon that is Diane Von Furstenburg!

Right Back At It Again.

Wow.
I've gone a month without blogging again.
I don't know. I've not been myself lately, I won't go into detail.
I've spent some time in Brighton -been to a few concerts.

The 1975 were fantastic as always. I saw them at the Alexandra Palace in London with my brother. My brother had never seen them before and I had never seen them at a venue that holds more than 300 people. Ally Pally holds over 7,000. And they had TWO sold out shows there.
I am incredibly proud of them. Considering the first I saw them was 4 years. they were supporting One Night Only in a tiny club in a corner of Brighton. Me and my 2 friends were the only ones that knew them and the only ones that were interested in them.
Now they're selling out huge venues in the capital.

The following day we travelled to Brighton to see some of my favourites- The Maine. A band who are to ridiculously talented for their own good.
Nick Santino was supporting and it was kind of strange seeing perform solo (I've only ever seen him in A Rocket To The Moon) but was fantastic none the less.
Also supporting was Lydia, a band who I've heard of but only know one song of. They were very good and I enjoyed their set immensely.

A week later we went back to Brighton to see The Vamps.
I saw them supporting Mcfly last year (see here and here) and they have a similar approach to their live shows as McFly do, but with their own twist.
Supporting was E of E, a band who I've seen supporting multiple people throughout the year. I won't talk about them too much as I like to focus on the positives on this blog. I guess I just don't really like them all that much...
Next was Luke Friend. I raved about him on my "Ones To Watch" List and supported him all throughout X factor last year. He's going to go far. I can feel it.
Also supporting was Nina Nesbitt. I know the name but none of her songs. She was very good through and would highly suggest checking her out.

Well this is very wordy and not very picture-y. That's not a word.
I posted a few videos on my instagram page here.

I'm sorry i've been gone. Like I said I haven't been feeling myself. And the blog posts I do write, I delete because I really dislike them.
But October's here now, which means Halloween and an endless amount of Tim Burton movies. So I'm kind of in my comfort zone.

I have a couple of beauty reviews coming up soon! I promise they'll be up within the next 2 weeks!

Much love.
