We Need To Talk About... Red Velvet.

Another K-pop fashion post. Told you I was in love.

Formed by SM Entertainment, Red Velvet create catchy music, with awesome dance routines, and on top of that, fresh-off-the-runway outfits.
If you read my BlackPink post, you'll know I'm not super into the girl groups in K-pop -the boys are more my thing- but Red Velvet might just be my favourite female's in the k-pop industry.

As they've just started releasing new music, I thought now was the perfect time to write about how incredible their styles are.

Lead rapper, Joy, is classy, sophisticated and ladylike. All of which reflects onto her style.
Her fashion choices mix glamorous with preppy to create her signature luxe style, which wouldn't look out of place on any high-end runway.

Yeri is the youngest member of Red Velvet.
Much like BlackPink's Lisa, her style is a mix of soft and hard pieces, throwing together colourful patterns and fun prints with  oversized boyfriend blazers and fishnets. She seems to love floral prints, chokers and dying her hair various colours. Much like any baby of any family, Yeri is sweet and lovely, but can be cheeky and daring when she wants to be. She looks great in chic styles, but throws an edge into her outfit somehow.

Leader of the group, Irene, is cute and bubbly but can throw a mean rap whenever she wants.
Voted Number 1 most influentional female idol by Big Data Chart, its not just her leadership of one of Korea's biggest groups that's turning heads. Her clean cut looks may be simple and neat, but ooze pure style. Inspiring many young women, Irene has a lot of fashion and beauty brands wanting to work with her, and honestly that's not surprising, since her style is always on point.

Seulgi. I had some trouble narrowing this down to 8 pictures for Seulgi.
Her style is definitely my favourite. Like Irene, she loves to look simple and chic, but edges it by mixing in some urban street-wear. She loves matches oversized and loose fitting tops with anything high-waisted, and is often seen in black and white with one item being a poop of bright colour.
Seulgi always looks like she just stepped out of Vogue no matter where she is.

Last, but no where near least, we have Wendy.
Though her style is not as sophisticated as Seulgi or Irene's, Wendy is beautiful and stylish in her own way. Preferring comfort and sport-luxe looks over the simple, clean cut ones, she loves being casual but will often have one statement piece which makes her stand out.

Red Velvet's presence on Korea's music and fashion scenes, are undeniably, unstoppable. The mix of five unique personalities mixed with their strong talent make them diverse and influential.
Their latest song "Bad Boy", is already racking up several awards and over 33 million views on YouTube, despite only being released a week ago.

These girls are a force to be reckoned with.
