The most anticipated fashion show of the year has officially aired on TV.
Victoria's Secret took over the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai, China, to showcase their latest collection of lingerie.
2017 marked the year of Karlie Kloss' return to the glitter runway, Candice Swanepoel's first VS walk since becoming a mum and, unfortunately, Alessandra Ambrosio's last year as one of the longest running angels.
Featuring musical guests, Miguel, Yundi, Leslie Odom Jr, Jane Zhang and actual angel Harry Styles, this year was not quite as star packed as usual. But that's a bad thing. Whether you've heard of them or not, every performer did an incredible job.
So what about those segments?
The Balmain collaboration was inspired by the Punk movement in the late 70's and opened up the show with a powerful walk from Candice. Whilst I didn't like the way they had two girls posing together, I liked the fact that it added something different. And Kiwi by Styles? Perfect song choice.
Porcelain Angels was easily my favourite segment. The silky, sheer material of the outfits created gorgeous, flowing capes, and the white and blue colouring blended with the feathers looked beautiful.
Goddesses showcased gold, white silver lingerie with some incredible handmade wings. Lais Ribiro wore the fantasy bra and looked like an actual goddess.
PINK for me was a bit of a mess this year, but Nomadic Adventure brought an abundance of colour and a bohemian flare to the show. NA also saw Elsa Hosk wearing the Swarovski outfit, featuring wings made from flame red crystals.
Overall, I was impressed with this years show. There was so many incredible handmade outfits that it was hard to narrow down to just a few to show her. Now excuse me while I go and sort out a gym membership, because, boy, do I feel like I need one now.
