Spotify.

The other day I created a spotify!!
I don't really know what I'm doing yet but if you'd like to follow then just press here.

I thought it would be a fun idea to let you guys hear what I've been listening to this summer (if you can call this summer -its gone back to winter today erghhh) so I made a playlist of my current favourites songs and ones that I've been listening to a lot recently.

I hope you like it!
Maybe I'll make more of these in the future.
Doyou have any recommendations for me?
Much Love.

Embrace Being Weird.

Photo from my Instagram

I picked up this tank top in London yesterday evening.
I went to see one of my favourite bands, The Summer Set, last night who, as per usual, put on an incredible show. They had two support acts -Natives and Action Item. And AI were selling this little beauty.

I think we all need a little reminder of this sometimes. I know I am someone that constantly looks in the mirror just to pick out things I don't like about myself and things I'd like to change. But those are the things that make me, well, me!

I know I'm not perfect -no one is. And having this saying around me isn't going to make me stop critising myself constantly. But I think it will remind me to stop obsessing over stupid small things that no one else ever notices.

I think everyone needs a reminder that it's ok to be different. If we all looked the same think how boring life would be
So embrace being different and embrace being weird. And maybe we won't be stressing so much over little things that don't really matter.

An also, I bet there's someone out there that really loves that little flaw your dying to change.

Much Love.

Memory Lane Take 2.

On Thursday Me and my Aunt went to Brighton to see McFly. Again...
I did warn you this post was coming.

In a way this was better than Tuesday night. We had a cheeky surprise acoustic set from James Bourne. (Top Picture) Who I've actually been waiting over ten years to see live.
He's a big part of the reason I got into music and why I love so many bands/ artists that I love today -including Mcfly. So the fact that he did a surprise set made my entire life.

I managed to get second row for both him and The Vamps. Who, P.S, were even better Thursday than they were Tuesday. If that's possible.

Mcfly never fail to put on an amazing show and I think that's one of the reasons how they're still going strong after ten years. I think they're the only band that I have a huge smile plastered on my face throughout their entire show.
They've gotten me through a lot of stuff over these past ten years and I can guarantee that they'll be the band that gets me through whatever else life decides to throw at me.

I also managed to get a few more videos (in HQ) for everyone.

Much Love.

Memory Lane Take 1.

I've said it before and I'll most likely say it again -you've been warned- Mcfly are my favourite band.
Last night was the ninth time I've seen them live. And I swear they get better everytime.
My tenth Mcfly show will be tomorrow evening so expect another blog post Friday sometime.

The support act was The Vamps, (see second picture) who I actually knew beforehand through youtube and because they're friends with Carrie.
But they were so good live and I highly suggest you check them out if you haven't already.

I did take more photos and a video The Vamps last night. But my camera decided to delete them all before I could upload them. I managed to recover a few though.
Hopefully I'll get some good ones tomorrow night.

Here's a video I took of Mcfly performing Obviously.
Dougie decided to tell a little story of how the band got together and Harry said he should do it in a RomCom way.
So enjoy. And I'll see you Friday with some more Mcfly for you all.

BBQ Time.

I can't even begin to tell you how happy summer makes me.
Especially after the ridiculously long and hard winter we've endured.
It sounds stupid but I definitely think the weather changes peoples mood.  Everyone's much more relaxed and don't seem so stressed. Almost everyone's smiley and chatty and they aren't they complaining as much.
Plus I get the chance to wear all summery clothes I brought over the winter.

I've spent the week sunbathing, listening to good music, reading magazines and drinking Pimms.

Summertime in England means BBQ (summer being anything over 15 degrees)
We don't get much of a summer here so when we do we tend to go a bit over the top. Well, we do have to make the most of it!
This evening my brother hosted a little family BBQ in his new flat. Which was lovely.
I seem to have got a bit burnt today though.
It's a tough life being ginger.

Race For Life.

On 29th of June, my best friend and I will be doing the Race For Life in Brighton to help raise money for Cancer Research.
I will be running for my mother who suffered from cervical cancer 18 years ago.
We're hoping to raise as much money as we can for this fantastic charity.
So if you would like to sponsor us I will love you forever and ever!!
you can donate as much as can/want. Even £1 will help make a difference.
I will of course post a blog about the day for you all so you know I'm not lying!

If you would like to donate please go here.

Thank you and much love to you all.

I'd Rather Be...

It's that time of year again.
Where the internet gets plastered with images from the California music and arts festival Coachella, and almost everyone who isn't there wishes they were.
I am one of the "almost everyone".
The sun , the energy, the live music (there's so many ridiculously good acts that perform there!) everything makes me wish I could be there.

However, Coachella is just as much about the celebs that attend and what they're wearing as it is abut the music.
In the UK festival are wet, muddy and just down right messy. The fashion choices are generally wellies, shorts and t-shirts you don't mind either getting mud or beer on -but that's what makes the festival british.
And I think that's why I -and maybe alot of other brits- are often in quite in awe of Coachella.
It appears this festival releases the inner hippy in everyone. And that intrigues me. Because my love for all things bohemian tends to win. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

There's one girl who's fashion choices for this festival that is on point every single time; Vanessa Hudgens.
High waisted shorts, crochet, tye-dye, bandeaus, flowers, aztec prints and stacks upon stacks of rings and bracelets.
Vanessa's personal style is usually very lovely on daily basis, but when she hits Coachella it's flawless.

One day I hope to go and experience one of the weekends in Palm Springs surrounded by pretty clothes, chill people and fab music. Until then though, I'll stick to the muddiness of the Brit festivities.

Bring on weekend two of this sun fuelled fest!
Who's Coachella fashion is your personal favourite?
