So, I've been a bit MIA again...
All my blog posts from this year have started with this sentence I think. But honestly, I do have a good reason. Basically, my laptops not been working properly and I think I may have to get a new one, and the blogspot app for my phone is just pretty much shit.
It means I missed my Coachella recommendations list and I wanted to do a couple of TBT posts as well, so I've had to post pone those for now.
As for the recommendations, I didn't really mind missing that one. This years line up wasn't that impressive aside from a few artists so I feel like that would have been quite boring. And tbh, Coachella as a whole this year was kind of a let down.

Usually, the Palm Springs festival kicks off the Summer party season and bohemian fashion comes out to play. I always find myself scrolling through instagram, with severe FOMO and wanting to spend my entire bank balance on beautifully outrageous outfits, just so I can look like I've just stepped out of Woodstock circa 1969.

Honestly, it took me a while to find a collection from 2018 and most of these have come from bloggers, instagramers and youtubers. Nothing wrong with that. It's just usually theres a wide range of A-List celebs wearing their favourite flower crowns, all dressed up after spending hours thrifting through LA's finest parades, just to look like they'd spontaneously thrown an outfit together.

My personal favourites from this year? Victoria Justice, Sincerely Jules and Vanessa Hudgens. The latter will come as absolutely no surprise to anyone that knows me.

I hope next years line up and outfits will be 100 times better.

You all know I love bohemian fashion and love to keep up with festival fashion in particular.
In the UK, our festivals are messy. No one gets dressed up. Which is why I love Coachella.

The music and arts festival basically kick starts the festival season with a celeb filled bang, bringing with it lots of gorgeous outfits.

As you may have guessed, I personally prefer the outfits that you can wear almost day-to-day, but have a little something-something added to them. I don't like when celebs comepletely change their style for the one weekend they attend. Reasons why Vanessa Hudgens always gets it right: she dresses like she's at Coachella all the time. Her outfits are wearable -you may just have to adjust them slightly.

This years festival was filled with beautiful music and beautiful clothes. It was hard to narrow it down to these. I mean, V attended both weekends. I easily could have made a blog about her outfits alone; I restrained, don't worry!

We Need To Talk About... Suki Waterhouse.

Credit | Credit.

A couple of months back I made a post called We Need To Talk About Margot Robbie. It was all about her style and showcased my fashion favourites on her. Well, I've decided I'm going to make that  into a little series. I love fashion and want to talk about it more on here. I'll probably make one of these posts per month where I talk about someone whose style I'm loving at the moment.

I've decided to start with my long term love- Suki Waterhouse.
The 25 year old is a model, actress and designer for her own brand, Pop & Suki, which she owns with her best friend, Poppy Jamie.

I've been girl-crushing hard on Suki for quite a few years now, with her vintage and bohemian garments, who can really blame me?!
Suki is a rare breed. Someone who manages to look incredibly cool and completely flawless, whilst also looking like she made no effort at all.

Working with brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry and Prada, it's easy to see why Miss Waterhouse is one the coolest girls dominating the UK fashion scene.

Let me know what you think of this series because, so far, I'm really enjoying writing them!
Much Love.

We Need To Talk About... Margot Robbie

We need to talk about Margot Robbie.
I am ridiculously in love with her right now. A cool Aussie, chick who is hilarious and has excellent fashion sense.
Margot's become pretty famous since her roles in Wolf of Wall Street, and Suicide Squad, but I'm here to talk about her style.
Boho, hippie, comfy and casual yet very girly. What's not to love?! In particular, I LOVE the black playsuit/ pink kimono out fit in the second set.
Her outfits appear effortless yet she always looks incredible. Like the first photo of her at Brisbane airport, so simple and comfy but super stylish.

I think the whole world is getting major girl crush vibes right now.
Much Love.

Coachella | My Fashion Favourites.

None of the photos belong to me. Although I have edited to them.
All links to photo sources are linked underneath each photo.

Festival season has officially kicked with bohohemian's love that is Coachella.
Usually I'm so jealous and spend the whole of April dreaming I could be there. This year though, I didn't really think the line up was that great. There was only maybe 3 or 4 bands and artists I was interested.
Despite it being a music festival, it's also a celeb hotspot and a fantastic place to show off some new fashion items.  It's become known for those two things more than the music. Which is kind of sad actually.
I realised this year that alot of people only went to post good pictures on instagram. It's a music festival. Go for the music.
that probably sounds incredibly hypocritical, considering what this blog post is about. But I love the effortless, bohohemian style on a daily basis, so I feel this is a way to share that love with you all.
Please don't go purely for taking photos.

Go for the music, the love, the good vibes, and the memories.
If you happen to have great style- bonus points to you.
Much Love.

Coachella | My Fashion Favourites.

Yes, it's that time of year again!
The time for the humans to run out to the Coachella desert in their finest boho accessories, listen to good music and kick start the festival season.
Also, it means it's time for my annual yearly round up of Coachella fashion-goodness!
Click the names under each photo for credit. Edits by me.

I'm not going to lie, I was disappoointed that Vanessa Hudgens was unable to make it this year. Her style is on point every year. However, there was still plenty of beautiful outfits for me to pick from. I had a hard time narrowing it down to this selection!

I have so much fun making these blog posts every year.

One Direction & Depop

I haven't in almost a month. Woopss.
In my denfense I've been very busy. I recently got new managers at my job and I've been working alot. It's abit overwhelming. But they're lovely people and so far I'm enjoying working for them.

A couple of weeks ago I travelled up to London for One Direction's "Where We Are" tour at Wembley Stadium.
I've never been too a show that big before. To put it nicely I kind of wish I never went. 5 Seconds of Summer were AMAZING. As per usual. Although, the crowd the seemed to scream alot for them though only seemed to know "She Looks So Perfect"...
Still, I had a lot of fun dancing and singing along and they put on a very energetic performance. And I'm very much looking forward to recieving their first album in the mail soon.

I'm going to get absolutely slaughtered for this, but I didn't enjoy One Direction much.
I've seen live twice before this, and both times I've had alot of fun. However, they decided to put a load of slow(er) songs right in the middle of sets -like a massive chunk of slow songs- not just one or two.
Majority of the band didn't seem like they wanted to be there, or maybe just weren't grateful enough, maybe they're tired and overworked, I don't know. But at one point two members left the stage for a toilet break. That I found personally very rude.

Don't get me wrong. I still enjoyed myself. I just think I expected more for the amount the tickets cost.

Anyway, enough negativity. I recently made a depop account. Which if you don't know, Depop is a fun app for buying and selling items (mainly used  for clothes and jewellery but I have seen people selling CDs/DVDs)
I'm trying to sell quite a few things to make some money for travelling and also because I either don't wear them or haven't worn them in an extremely long time. And I need to make space in wardrobe  because it's literally filled up.

It's super easy to use and I will love you forever if you go have a look. I'll be putting more items up over time as well.
I'm selling things pretty cheaply so if you'd like to have a look either the link just under the above photo or my username is @emmalou93

I apologise for half of this post being negative but I'm on holiday in a couple of days so next week I'll hopefully have a fun blog post for you all

Redheaded Wednesday.

Dress; Asos

Whilst browsing through Asos the other day (ha, I do that most days) I came across this simple velvet black dress with an adorable lace collar.
I looked at it and said "I bet if I wore that I'd feel like Wednesday Addams." And so I brought it. It arrived Friday afternoon and I instantly put it on.

And I was right -I felt like Wednesday Addams.
And that's how this dress became the single greatest purchase I've ever made.

Clothes Show Live Haul.

Last weekend me and my mum took a little trip up to Birmingham to see Haim and then for the clothes show live!!
I've been wanting to go for a few years now and this year I was finally able to go.
I got to see Stooshe, Scott Innes (who I will do a blog post about soon) Tom Evans, Proudlock and Jamie from made In Chelsea, Henry Holland and the models from Britain and Ireland's next top model, along with others. I had a great day out and naturally I spent a TON -see above picture.

I thought it might be a fun idea to show you guys what I brought, basically a little haul. I've never really done this before, so I apologise if I completely screw this up!

The first thing I brought was this little Helen E goodie bag. The lady that served us was incredibly friendly and lovely and showed lots of different products and how to use them properly. I've personally never heard of Helen E before, however I really liked how lovely and natural looking their products looked on my skin.

The goodie bag consists of 1 foundation, 1 blusher, 1 eyeshadow, 1 eyeliner, 1 lip liner, 1 lipgloss plus brush, sponge and a cute little make up bag. This little set was only available at the show but you can buy all these products on their website.

Barry M is obviously very well known, and is actually one of my favourites for make up and nail varnish. So when I saw they had a stand at the show, I practically ran right over.
I was really happy to find had this adaorable little set for sale. It came with 5 different nail varnishes, 1 lipgloss, 2 eyeshadows, 1 mascara and 3 eye crayons. All of which came in a cute little make up/mini handbag. Which I've just realised I've forgotten to take a picture of -sorry!!

Again, this goodie bag was only available for the show, but you can buy all the products online.

This adorable little Minnie and Mickey jumper was probably my favourite buy of the day. It's from a shop called MAx C London. I think it's a really cute and lovely and feels incredibly soft. I've already worn it a ton!

I've just had a little snoop around their website and sadly it doesn't look like it's available but I'm sure you could find something similar on ebay or other shops.

This is another favourite of mine -the super cute "things a giraffe can't do" t-shirt.
I basically just thought this was absolutely adorable and I couldn't leave without it.

This obviously isn't all of what I brought, but my mum also brought some things and I also got some christmas pressies and I can't show them on here. But these are some of my favourites.
This was my first haul kind of blog so if you could give me any tips or advice that would be lovely!

P.S- I've had this song on repeat whilst making this blog purely because Luke's voice is so utterly perfect.
