I Know There's Torment In Your Heart

After last night I have decided that Charlie Simpson is perfect when it comes to performing live.

The way he plays guitar to his husky voice.

From the way he dresses to the fact that he can't seem to make eye contact properly.

Both of his gigs that I've been to, his performance has been even better than that of the studio recording, despite the fact that the album is already completely flawless.

When he's playing live, everything, even if it is just for an hour or so, just seems right.

A La Charlavail

Me and my mum have just finished making a new jumper. 

Well, I brought the jumper but all the bones were made from scratch.

Inspired, of course, by the lovely Charlavail.

It was my first time ever making iron-on transfers and I'm really happy with how they came out.

Really looking forward to wearing them this weekend at the bonfire. 

Cruising

Last week I went on a cruise with the family around the Mediterranean.

Although a cruise was definitely not my first choice of a holiday, it was pretty good.

We got the plane to Genoa, Italy and got on the cruise ship from there. The rest of the week was spent in Malaga, Cadiz, Lisbon, Gibraltar, Alicante and Barcelona.

    In Lisbon there's a bridge exactly like the Sanfran bridge and a giant statue of Jesus right next to each other.

In Gibraltar, me and my mum went up the cable car to the apes.

Up on the mountain you could also see part of Africa and you could also tell just how big our ship was -huge!

All in all, it was good trip although I would have liked to have spent longer in some places, such as Gibraltar and Barcelona since we only got half days there. 

But I did have fun. 

Fall Time

It's October now.

I've been down the beach today and I'm currently sitting here in a t-shirt and shorts.

What?

It's crazy hot right now. 

Got a pay rise and managed to get one direction tickets this morning. 

So I'm really today.

Currently sat here listening to the beauty that is Charlie Simpson's Young Pilgrim album.

I just feel like everyone should hear this album.

It really is something quite special.

Been making sugar skulls all day.

Flyaway Birdy

Went shopping in Worthing yesterday with Claire. 

Only brought two items -which I'm pretty proud of myself for. 

I got this swallow printed top from Internacionale and I love it.
