Top 10 Albums Of 2017.

Sigh, there was a lot of good music released this year.

From comebacks to debuts, 2017 was start to finish a great soundtrack.

These are my top ten albums of 2017.

No particular order of course.

Back Pocket Believers.

I was trying to work out how long I had been a fan of All Time Low for. Turns out it's ten years. TEN YEARS! 

Since then, I've travelled many miles, cried stupid amounts and made friends all because of them.

On Monday night, I added to that list of miles and tears when I drove to Southampton to see them.

First support of the night was Waterparks. I like these guys. There's a few songs I'm not a big fan of, but most of their music is fun, infectious and all round catchy. Their set was no different. 

Despite lead singer Awstin being sick recently, he sounded great and the Houston trio put on a excellent start to the evening. Will from Creeper also came on to sing "Royal" with them.

Now, SWMRS. Where do I start with SWMRS. I discovered these guys a couple of years ago, and I've never looked back. The play angsty garage rock/ punk and completely light up a room when they play live. I've been hoping to see them for a while now and, let me tell you, they did not disappoint. 

I also met Cole and Max after the show and they were so lovely. (Ignore my ugly, puffer-fish face)

Oh, All Time Low. I don't think this band have ever put on a bad show in their lives. Their hilarious, have perfectly,catchy songs and work so well together. You can't not have fun at their shows.

This is their first tour since switching from Hopeless Records to Fueled By Ramen, and their first playing new single "Dirty Laundry" live. I've heard mixed opinions regarding Dirty Laundry, but I quite like it. I don't really know why they released it as the first single (I'm positive there's better, more upbeat songs on the new album) but I do like it.

Also, they ecided to torture me by putting Therapy and Missing You next to each other on the set list. Both of those songs bring me to tears. Missing You came out when I was going through some really heavy stuff, so you could say it means a lot to me.

As per usual, ATL put on a excellent show.

But what else do you expect from All Time Low.

I honestly couldn't imagine the pop punk world without them.

Top 10 Albums Of 2015.

I've been slacking a little in terms of music/cd reviews this year. So to make up for it, I thought it would be fun to do a list of my top ten albums released this year.

This isn't in any particular order- I would literally be here forever trying to do decide otherwise!

Review | All Time Low- Future Hearts

I've waited a long time for this album.

I've been a fan of All Time Low since I was 13, maybe 14.
Their first album, The Party Scene, was pretty good, not the best, but not terrible.
2007's So Wrong It's Right was what really got me into them. Then 2009's Nothing Personal came out. Basically they became one of my favourite bands because of that album.
And then Dirty Work came out. Ehhh. I wasn't impressed with Dirty Work. I like it. I listen to it. But, I always come away wanting something more.
Don't Panic was released in 2012 and it was a step up from DW. However, it's definitely not my favourite of ATL.

This week saw the release of Future Hearts. (I actually listened to it a couple of weeks ago because it got leaked on tumblr!)
Let's just say this album has proved why these guys are one of my favourites.

It features all the pop-punk goodness that you expect from the Baltimore boys, with some added heavier sounds and also acoustic softness.
Like Nothing Personal, it's an album that you'll be dancing around the house to whilst also mellowing down for some softer, more heartfelt tunes.
It's basically Dirty Work hits puberty.

It was definitely an album worth waiting for.
Plus it features pop-punk kings -Mark Hoppus and Joel Madden.

Just listen to this album. It's perfect.

I've been listening to All Time Low and You Me At Six for about 8 years now.
Both bands were a big part of my teenage years and my growing up, and last night I got to see them co-headline the iconic O2 arena in London.

This post is going to be pretty photo heavy sorry!!
