#ThrowbackThursday | Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Ahh, Victoria's Secret. Where do we begin with Victoria's Secret.
Founded in 1977, the company has gone on to become one of the largest lingerie brands in the world. And that's mainly thanks to one insane night of the year. The fashion show.
Whilst the first VS show was back in 1995, it wasn't until 1999 that it was first broadcast-ed to the world. And even then, the first two years were only available via a webcasting.
The show has since become one of the most anticipated fashion events of the year.

From larger than life wings, million dollar bras, live performances and star studded audiences, the fashion show is so much more than just a fashion show.
VS hails in some of the most renowned names in the modelling world to participate. From Giselle Bunchen to Naomi Campbell. Karlie Kloss to Adriana Lima. Tyra Banks to Rosie Huntington-Whitley. Many of which have gone on to become Angels (the spokeswomen for the brand if you will)
And if you're not a household name like the aforementioned? getting a gig in VSFS will instantaneously boost your career.

And then there's the performers. Ariana Grande, Justin Timberlake,  Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy. Those are just a handful of names that have played on the glitter runway.

But there's the reason the show runs in the first place. The outfits. Oh my, the outfits.
With around five different segments for each show, the creators and designers have to come up with  an incredible amount of ideas each year. And on top of that? There's the question of who will get the fantasy bra.

After hours of re-watching the fashion shows, I've managed to pick just a few of my favourites to post above. But trust me, there is so many more that I'm in love with.

This years will be held in Shanghai, China and will be broadcast-ed on the 28th November. So check back here to see my opinions and favourite outfits from the show.
